I came across some old notes from a church sermon. It was 6 years ago but it seemed to be light years away. I saw something in those notes that I had to share someplace. We waste countless hours wishing for things we don't have and yet spend so little time being grateful for what we do have. This rings as true today as it did 6 years ago. We might all want a new car, a bigger house, or enough money to be able to retire. These are not bad things in any way but if we are not blessed with them, we should appreciate the old car we have as there are many that have no car and have to walk long distances every day. We might not have enough money to retire and yet we will eat today and there are so many that can't do that. Today, let's all try to be grateful for the little things.
